Installation Guide

Requirements:​

  • ~8GB of space, 2GB from downloads can be deleted after installation is complete
  • A legal copy of Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition updated to the most recent version

Part 1: Installation Guide

1.) Install a fresh copy of DAO​

If a copy has already been installed the game can be uninstalled, files's deleted in Steam/steamapps/common/Dragon Age Ultimate Edition and Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/, and then reinstalled like normal through steam

2.) Make sure the game has been ran at least once and your video settings have been configured​

If the "other campaigns" button is darkened or doesn't include all DLCs, exit the game and navigate to Steam/steamapps/common/Dragon Age Ultimate Edition/redist, and run "DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam.exe".

3.) Launch your installed Wabbajack & go to the Cogwheel at the top right. Log into your Nexus account through here​

4.) Download the file from the GitHub, select Install From Disk in Wabbajack, and locate the YotB Wabbajack file​

5.) Set your modlist installation location to wherever your would like it (IE: C:/Modlists/YotB) & it will automatically create the downloads directory for you. Press the play button when you are done and installation will begin​

6.) In MO2, install DAZIPs by selecting "DAUpdater" in the top right dropdown menu, then point it to the DAZIPs folder located in your installation folder, select all of the DAZIPs within DAUpdater, and choose Install Selected, then close the program​

7.) In the same dropdown menu, select "FIX_DLC", it will open a command prompt, then press any button to continue​

8.) Find the folder titled "Move to Game Folder" in your installation folder, and copy any files to your base game directory, overwriting any conflicting files​

9.) You can now select “Year of the Blight” from the right hand dropdown and press play​
